What Is $FRONG? The Uniswap Designer's Frog, +166%
- Created by a Uniswap product designer on 2026-07-30, six days before the pools.trade launchpad went live; no official Uniswap endorsement
- Main pool fee is just 0.25% (cheapest on the board) with $1,118,624 of liquidity, 16.6x turnover and 15,983 holders
- Down 45.7% from its $0.0164 ATH; 1h buy/sell ratio 0.80; $136,068 stranded in a 4.69% pool
What is $FRONG? A frog, but with an unusually solid backstory: public records indicate the contract was created by a Uniswap product designer on 2026-07-30 — six days before Uniswap's Robinhood Chain launchpad pools.trade went live. It's +165.79% on 24h for the same reason JUGGERNAUT is: Robinhood added an asset page. Snapshot: 2026-09-11 00:09 UTC.

The backstory: the frog that leaked a launchpad
FRONG has something most memecoins don't — a traceable origin. Per public search results (retrieved 2026-09-11; see CoinGecko's FRONG page):
- The contract was created by Uniswap product designer Zack Labadie at 2026-07-30 20:16:59 UTC — a verified ERC-20 with a fixed 1 billion supply
- At that point Uniswap's Robinhood Chain token launchpad, pools.trade, was still unannounced. The teaser site featured a frog video whose filename was frong.mp4, with metadata pointing to his Uniswap email
- pools.trade launched 2026-08-05 — six days after FRONG — which made FRONG the de facto first token of that launchpad
- FRONG's OpenSea token page lists pools.trade as its official website
One caveat on framing: this story was assembled by media and the community. Uniswap has not acknowledged or endorsed FRONG. The relationship is "an employee's side project accidentally leaked an unreleased product," not official backing.
Why it's up 166% today
Same trigger as JUGGERNAUT. Per crypto.news (2026-09-10), Robinhood added searchable asset pages for both tokens; FRONG climbed nearly 130%, printed an all-time high of $0.0164, and saw 24h volume rise more than 1,300%. The same report is explicit that this is not a spot listing — neither Robinhood nor Robinhood Crypto announced spot support.
On-chain confirmation of a real crowd: 15,122 buys against 14,122 sells (1.07), with 3,773 distinct buying addresses in 24 hours.
Can it keep going?
Arguments for
- A 0.25% main-pool fee. That's the cheapest pool on today's board — compare JUGGERNAUT's 1% main pool, or KERMIT's satellite pools at 81%. Low fees mean arbitrageurs keep the price honest and your round-trip friction is minimal.
- Depth. $1,118,624 in the main pool, third-deepest on the board; $1,797,514 token-wide.
- 1h still pushing: +17.14%.
- Real holder base: 15,983 holders (OpenSea) across 1,012 hours of history.
- 16.6x turnover — meaningfully lower than JUGGERNAUT's 35.6x, PONIE's 43.6x, or SIH's 168.7x. Relatively healthy churn.
Arguments against
- -45.7% from the ATH. ATH $0.0164 (crypto.news) versus $0.0089071 now. The board says +165.79%; anyone who bought the high is down almost half.
- 1h buy/sell ratio is only 0.80. 261 buys against 327 sells, while price rose 17.14% in the same hour. That means fewer, larger buys against many small sells — the single most important divergence to watch here.
- 6h already -2.65%.
- 0.92 unique buyer/seller ratio: 3,773 buyers against 4,121 sellers.
- One-shot catalyst. The asset page is done. Nothing is scheduled to follow it.
- Concentration unknown — upstream endpoint 403 today, so top 1 / top 10 is no public data.
The $136,068 of fake depth
FRONG's 20 pools total $1,797,514, but you cannot treat that as tradeable depth. The pool detail (2026-09-11 00:22 UTC):
| Pool | Created | Liquidity | 24h volume | Turnover |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FRONG / WETH 0.25% (main) | 2026-07-30 | $1,118,916 | $18,585,875 | 16.6x |
| DATFRONG / FRONG 1% | 2026-08-08 | $181,899 | $451,677 | 2.5x |
| FRONG / USDG 4.69% | 2026-07-30 | $136,068 | $638 | 0.005x |
| FRONG / WETH 1% | 2026-07-30 | $130,970 | $3,074,662 | 23.5x |
| FRONG / USDG 2.1% | 2026-07-30 | $118,662 | $2,273,688 | 19.2x |
| FRUGG / FRONG | 2026-09-10 22:36 | $21,546 | $114 | 0.005x |
That 4.69% fee pool holds $136,068 and traded $638 in a day. A 4.69% one-way fee means a round trip costs you over 9.4%, so nobody goes there. It counts toward "token-wide liquidity $1,797,514" and contributes nothing to your slippage.
Usable depth is the main pool's $1,118,916 plus the active 1% and 2.1% pools ($249,632) — roughly $1.37M. On larger orders that difference is real money.
Also note FRUGG / FRONG: a derivative pool created 2026-09-10 22:36 with $21,546 of liquidity and $114 of 24h volume. Token-to-token pools spun up mid-hype are usually there to harvest routing mistakes. The FRONG page on BigPump shows the complete pool list with fee tiers.
How to buy $FRONG on Robinhood Chain
- Bridge ETH to Robinhood Chain (chainId 4663, ETH for gas, RPC https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com).
- Verify the contract: 0x6245e67affa44a23077f0ea7f981a8dc743a0c47. Don't accidentally buy DATFRONG or FRUGG — those are separate tokens.
- Make sure you route the 0.25% main pool, not the 4.69% or 2.1% pool. Four percentage points of fee is $40+ on a $1,000 order.
- Slippage: with $1.1M of depth you can keep it tight (0.5%–1%) on small orders. If the router splits into shallower pools, widen it but read the quote.
- Set your loss cap first. At -45.7% from the ATH this is either a pullback or a continuation lower.
Risk checklist
- Move triggered by a one-off external event (Robinhood asset page) that cannot repeat
- -45.7% from ATH $0.0164; 6h negative; 1h buy/sell ratio 0.80
- Unique sellers (4,121) outnumber unique buyers (3,773)
- Top 1 / top 10 concentration no public data today
- $136,068 in a 4.69% pool plus $21,546 in a day-old FRUGG pool = dead weight inside the headline liquidity
- The Uniswap connection is community-assembled with no official endorsement
- An asset page is not a spot listing — don't price it like an exchange debut
FAQ
Is $FRONG an official Uniswap token?
No. Public records indicate a Uniswap product designer created the contract personally, inadvertently revealing that pools.trade existed. Uniswap has not acknowledged or endorsed FRONG.
FRONG or JUGGERNAUT — which looks healthier?
On today's data FRONG wins on three counts: a 0.25% main-pool fee (vs 1%), 16.6x turnover (vs 35.6x), and deeper liquidity ($1,118,624 vs $743,860). JUGGERNAUT wins on 1h buy/sell ratio (1.62 vs 0.80) and holder count (22,398 vs 15,983). Both sit post-catalyst and both are more than 40% below their recent highs.
Robinhood added an asset page — does spot trading follow?
No public data. Both reports state clearly that the pages are market data only and promise nothing about future trading. CoinGape's quote: "Basically, all they make is asset pages on Robinhood and you can search the coin, it's not a listing." Full explainer: an asset page is not a listing.
Token-wide liquidity is $1.8M — why is my slippage still bad?
Because $136,068 of it sits in a 4.69% fee pool that traded $638 in a day, and $21,546 sits in a FRUGG pool created last night. Usable depth is closer to $1.37M, and it depends on which pool your router actually hits. See why the pool you trade decides your P&L.
What does launching cost on BigPump?
The curve phase charges a 1% pool fee (95% platform / 5% creator). Cumulative real ETH of 4 ETH triggers automatic graduation, which takes a one-time 5% of pooled ETH and creates a Uniswap V2 pool with the LP burned to the dead address. After graduation the platform takes another 1% per DEX trade, stacked on top of the creator tax you choose (1/3/5/10%). Set against today's 4.69%, 20% and 81% pools, fee tiers matter a lot.
