Robinhood Added an Asset Page, Not a Listing
- An asset page means searchable prices; a listing means you can place an order. Robinhood did the former. Only CASHCAT has the latter
- Exposure pumps have three signatures: the move completes within an hour, turnover spikes, and unique sellers outnumber unique buyers
- Compare today's WALLET: 1.0x turnover and a 1.26 buy/sell ratio — that is the structural shape
The most expensive misreading on Robinhood Chain today is the sentence "Robinhood listed JUGGERNAUT and FRONG." It's wrong. Robinhood added searchable asset pages — market-data pages, not spot listings. Miss that distinction and you'll treat "there's a second wave coming" as a fact while buying something already 42% off its high. Snapshot: 2026-09-11 00:09 UTC.
What actually happened
On 2026-09-10, Robinhood added searchable asset pages for JUGGERNAUT and FRONG inside its app. Two outlets report it the same way:
- crypto.news (2026-09-10): these are market-data pages, "not confirmed spot-market listings". JUGGERNAUT ran +500% within an hour then settled near +380%, 24h range $0.0022–$0.0208, volume up over 3,000%. FRONG climbed nearly 130% to an ATH of $0.0164 with volume up over 1,300%. The report states plainly: neither Robinhood nor Robinhood Crypto announced spot support, and the asset pages don't promise future trading access.
- CoinGape (2026-09-10): quotes Myriad Markets co-founder Farokh Sarmad — "Basically, all they make is asset pages on Robinhood and you can search the coin, it's not a listing." It also notes CASHCAT is the only Robinhood Chain memecoin with actual spot trading on Robinhood.
So the accurate sentence is: Robinhood now lets you look up these two prices in its app. You still have to buy them on a DEX.
Three tiers — don't collapse them
| Tier | What it is | Price significance | What Robinhood did here |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Asset / market-data page | Searchable, price and chart visible | One-off exposure; no buying channel | Yes — this is the 9/10 event |
| 2. Spot listing | You can place orders in the app | Brings genuine fiat/stablecoin bids | No. CASHCAT has this |
| 3. Custody / transfer support | Deposit and withdraw to your own wallet | Structural integration | No public data |
The common retail mistake is treating tier 1 as a prelude to tier 2. Sometimes it is. But nobody promised it, and "they might enable spot" is not a thesis — it's a hope with no source.
What exposure-driven pumps look like in data
| Metric | JUGGERNAUT | FRONG |
|---|---|---|
| 24h change | +379.29% | +165.79% |
| 1h / 6h | +18.36% / -12.80% | +17.14% / -2.65% |
| Distance from high | -42.4% ($0.0208 → $0.0119814) | -45.7% ($0.0164 → $0.0089071) |
| 24h volume | $26,486,320 | $18,585,010 |
| Turnover | 35.6x | 16.6x |
| Unique buyers / sellers | 4,592 / 4,897 (0.94) | 3,773 / 4,121 (0.92) |
| Holders (OpenSea) | 22,398 | 15,983 |
Three signatures:
- Fast up, fast back. JUGGERNAUT did +500% in an hour and is now -42.4% from that high. Exposure produces one concentrated wave of buying, and then it's done.
- Turnover spikes. 35.6x and 16.6x — money flipping at speed, not anyone building a position.
- Unique sellers outnumber unique buyers. 0.94 and 0.92. More buy transactions, but more distinct addresses handing over supply. Exposure transfers liquidity to whoever was already inside.
How to tell exposure-driven from structural
Today's board happens to contain a clean counter-example:
| What to check | JUGGERNAUT | WALLET |
|---|---|---|
| 24h change | +379.29% | +56.92% |
| Turnover | 35.6x | 1.0x |
| Transaction buy/sell ratio | 1.06 | 1.26 (highest on board) |
| Liquidity shape | New pools opened into the event | $3.34M main pool, 63-day-old |
| Gain distribution | Most of it inside one hour | 7d +387%, 30d +1,000%+ (OpenSea) |
WALLET (Robinhood Wallet) has $4,069,925 of token-wide liquidity against $3,300,019 of 24h volume — 0.81x turnover, the lowest on the board. Rising, but structurally different: money came in and did not flip.
WALLET's own risks: 680 unique buyers against 845 unique sellers (0.81), 6h -1.88%, and $694,299 sitting in four high-fee or zero-volume pools (the 3.688% pool holds $576,863 and traded $373 in 24h; the 20% pool holds $19,627 and traded $29). → See WALLET's pool detail
Five steps next time you read "exchange X listed token Y"
- Ask whether you can place an order. Searchable is not tradeable. Open the app and look for a buy button.
- Find the primary source, not a screenshot. Official announcement page or official account. Note what the coverage cites: today both articles quote an industry commentator rather than a Robinhood announcement — which itself tells you no announcement exists.
- Ask how much the event is already priced in. JUGGERNAUT did +500% within an hour of the news. By the time you read about it, price had eaten it. -42.4% from the high is the concrete cost of that lag.
- Check turnover and the unique buyer/seller ratio. Turnover above 30x with a ratio under 1 usually means the exposure is already spent.
- Check when the pool you're routing through was created. This is today's sharpest lesson. JUGGERNAUT has two pools created 09-10 at 12:43 and 12:57 — after the pump started. JUGGERNAUT/USDG 0.989% is -44.95% on 24h; JUGGERNAUT/WETH 1.003% is -30.08%. The main pool reads +373%, those two read -45% and -30%, on $1,330,134 of combined volume — that's money that bought the top.
Step 5 is one glance on the JUGGERNAUT page on BigPump: pool list, fee tiers, creation times, volume distribution and chart in a single screen.
Market context for scale
Per the CoinGecko "Robinhood Chain Meme" category page (fetched 2026-09-11): category market cap $982.1M (+1.1% 24h), 24h volume $253.7M. Top five by market cap: AI $218.2M, CASHCAT $167.6M, GreenHood (HOOD) $52.4M (+46.5%), AMC $52.4M, CHUMP $47.9M.
Which means JUGGERNAUT — the +379% token everyone is talking about — has a market cap of $12,214,990 and may not even crack the sector's top ten. The gainers board and the market-cap board are two different things.
FAQ
So did Robinhood list JUGGERNAUT or not?
Not as spot. It added a searchable asset (market-data) page. crypto.news: "not confirmed spot-market listings." CoinGape's quoted industry read: "it's not a listing."
Which Robinhood Chain memecoins can I buy on Robinhood itself?
Per CoinGape (2026-09-10), only CASHCAT. Today it's +3.57% on 24h with a $165,599,913 market cap, $2,356,263 of liquidity and 110,408 holders (OpenSea) — the widest holder base on the chain. → See CASHCAT
Will trading follow the asset page?
No public data. Both outlets say no commitment was made. Treating it as a reason to hold is your risk to carry.
Should I just avoid these entirely?
Not necessarily. The workable approach is to name it for what it is — an exposure-driven pump you're late to (JUGGERNAUT -42.4%, FRONG -45.7%) — and then trade it by exposure-pump rules: small size, defined loss cap, main pool only, and no adding on the theory that spot trading is coming. Not investment advice — memecoins can go to zero.
