All 3 Golden Dogs Fell: PONIE -38%, ROBIN -25%

2026-09-11 · 7 min read · By Leo Park · BigPump Blog
TL;DR
  • PONIE volume +77.8% while price fell 38.39% and liquidity fell 13.7% — textbook distribution
  • ROBIN is negative on 1h, 6h and 24h (-14.82% / -32.03% / -24.91%) and sits -65.3% below its ATH
  • Five consecutive days of records: no golden dog has risen the next day. ASHIBA is -74.6% from its +613% day

Yesterday Robinhood Chain had three golden dogs: PONIE +175.42%, ROBIN +134.32%, RECEIPT +112.99%. Twenty-four hours later: PONIE -38.39%, ROBIN -24.91%, RECEIPT off the board. All three down. This is the fifth consecutive day we've run this check and the answer hasn't changed. Snapshot 2026-09-11 00:09 UTC.

The result

Read the last column carefully. From two days ago PONIE is still +69.7% and ROBIN is still +76.0%. If you were already in on 09-09 you're up. If you bought after reading the 09-10 gainers board, you're down 38% or 25%. That's the entire problem with chasing golden dogs, in one line.

PONIE: volume +78%, price -38%

Volume up 77.8%, price down 38.39%, liquidity down 13.7%. Those three together have one reading: distribution. Someone is using rising volume to hand supply to newer buyers while money leaves the pool.

3,621 unique buyers against 3,622 unique sellers — 1.00 to the address. Turnover 43.6x. That is not accumulation, it's a high-speed handoff.

The one positive is 1h at +3.79% with a 1h transaction ratio of 1.17 (265 buys / 227 sells), so the decline is narrowing. But 5m is back to -2.04%, so nothing is confirmed. PONIE does have a site (poniethepon.com) and X account @PonieThePon, with the project claiming 0/0 tax, no owner, and no mint, pause or blocklist; its own disclaimer says the token has "no intrinsic value and no expectation of return." → See PONIE

ROBIN is the frog — Robin the Frog, Kermit's nephew, whose name collides with Robin Hood, which gives it a native narrative on this chain. Per a GlobeNewswire release (2026-09-07), it printed an ATH of $0.0258 on 2026-09-06 with a market cap above $25M, was issued through Pons, and states it is unaffiliated with Robinhood, Disney or The Muppets.

Today's shape is worse than PONIE's: 6h -32.03%, 1h -14.82%, 24h -24.91% — all negative, and 6h worse than 24h means the selling accelerated in the last six hours. Transaction ratios of 0.68 (24h) and 0.62 (1h) show a weakening bid. Liquidity fell from $297,973 to $245,806.

One relative positive: turnover is only 5.6x, so this isn't wash volume. On 09-07 we could still see a whale cutting from 57.8% to 53.2%; today that figure is no public data — upstream 403, second day running. → See ROBIN

RECEIPT: gone from the board

RECEIPT (receipt.family — photograph a physical receipt, get fractional brand-stock tokens) was +112.99% yesterday on $106,090 of liquidity, and was already -30.11% in its final hour. It's not in today's top 12, so our feed has no figures for it today — no public data.

Falling off the board is itself a signal: its 24h volume no longer ranks top 12. Yesterday it had 20 pools totalling $264,103 of liquidity. The project has a real product (Apple, Amazon, Whole Foods, Costco, AMC, GameStop; "3% of the receipt, never more than $100"), but product delivery and token price are separate questions.

Five days of tracking: what day two actually looks like

ASHIBA is the most complete sample we have:

From the 09-09 snapshot price, ASHIBA is down 74.6% in two days. The 82.6% volume collapse is a more definitive death signal than the price — it means nobody is trading it at all. → See ASHIBA

In five days of records, not one golden dog rose the following day. That doesn't mean golden dogs always fall. It means that by the time a token appears on a 24h gainers board, the gain has already happened — you're looking at the result, not the process.

So what about today's two?

Today it's JUGGERNAUT +379.29% and FRONG +165.79%, both because Robinhood added searchable asset pages on 09-10 (not a spot listing — see crypto.news). They differ from the last few days' golden dogs in one important way:

Cause of moveExternal event (asset page)External event (asset page)Narrative / hypeNew-listing discovery

JUGGERNAUT and FRONG are old pools + deep liquidity + an external catalyst. PONIE and ASHIBA were new pools + thin liquidity + hype. The former survive more often.

The risk side is equally clear: JUGGERNAUT is -42.4% from its 24h high ($0.0208 → $0.0119814) and FRONG is -45.7% from its ATH ($0.0164 → $0.0089071). Roughly half the move has already been given back, and the trigger was a one-off event that cannot repeat.

Three usable rules

  1. Appearing on the golden-dog list means you're late. A 24h gainers board sorts by gains that already happened. To be early you watch new-listing feeds, volume anomalies and 1h changes — not the 24h board.
  2. On day two, watch liquidity rather than price. PONIE -13.7%, ROBIN -17.5%, ASHIBA -72.1% the day before. Price can be lifted back in a thin pool; liquidity leaving is money genuinely exiting.
  3. Volume up with price down is distribution — trim. PONIE today: volume +77.8%, price -38.39%. That combination almost never means anything else.

All three are directly comparable on the BigPump Robinhood Chain hot-token pages — chart, trade tape, liquidity change and pool list on one screen.

FAQ

How do you define a golden dog?

Our rule: 24h change ≥ +100% and main-pool liquidity ≥ $20,000. The liquidity floor exists to exclude shells where a few thousand dollars of book can be marked up 10x — for example today's SIH, at -96.61% on a $5,091 pool.

Should I still hold PONIE?

For: 1h +3.79% with a 1.17 transaction ratio, 9,654 holders, a website and X account, and project claims of 0% tax and no owner. Against: volume +77.8% with price -38.39% (distribution), turnover 43.6x, liquidity -13.7%, a main pool of only $37,908, and 5m still -2.04%. Not investment advice — memecoins can go to zero.

Why is there no top-10 concentration data today?

The upstream holder endpoint returned 403 for a second consecutive day, so holdersCount / top1Percent / top10Percent are null — no public data. Holder counts above come from OpenSea token pages (different methodology). Substitute approach: judging a token without holder data.

How do I actually catch day one then?

Honestly: it's hard and the expected value may be negative. For calibration, see the other tracker we published today — yesterday's 10 zero-hour launches, of which zero are up, with combined liquidity down 15.2%. A more realistic approach is to trade old pools with deep liquidity and a real external catalyst, and accept that you're capturing the second leg rather than the first.
