Both Golden Dogs Fell: CATGPT -71.5%, PAIREX -39%
- CATGPT -71.49% ($100 → $28.51) and PAIREX -37.89% ($100 → $62.11) — both fell
- CATGPT's main pool went from $7,427,681 to $2,210,415, down 70.2% in a day
- Four day-two checks so far, and no golden dog has yet continued higher
Robinhood Chain had two golden dogs yesterday: $CATGPT at 24h +344.78% and $PAIREX at +3,249.96%. Twenty-four hours on, CATGPT is -71.49% and PAIREX is -37.89%. Both fell.
This is the fourth time I have run the day-two check on yesterday's golden dogs, and the result keeps landing the same way. Data time 2026-09-14 00:09 UTC; pool data 00:10-00:20 UTC.

CATGPT: 70% of a $7.4M pool gone in a day
When I wrote it up yesterday, the main CATGPT/OPENAIx1L pool held $7,427,681 — the second-deepest pool on the board. Today it holds $2,210,415, down 70.2% in 24 hours.
The warning was already in the data. Yesterday its unique buyer/seller ratio was 0.69 (1,707 / 2,463): wallets were net-exiting while the price was up 344%. I flagged it in the risk section then. Today the ratio is 0.66 and the price has caught down 71.49%.
Its quote asset is worth repeating too: the main pool is paired against OPENAIx1L, an ERC-20 wrapper around a perpetual long position, not a stock. Yesterday's breakdown covered the structure — when your main pool's quote asset is itself a leveraged derivative wrapper, price volatility gets amplified twice.
CATGPT has now dropped out of the hot 12. It is still -6.4% on 1h and -32.79% on 6h. The decline is not finished.
PAIREX: volume down 83.7%, but two-thirds of the pool survives
PAIREX printed +3,249.96% yesterday, the largest single-day gain in my records. Today it is -37.89%, so $100 from yesterday is $62.11.
Its shape differs from CATGPT's:
- Volume collapsed 83.7% ($10,708,576 → $1,741,729) and transactions fell from 41,269/35,239 to 6,656/5,856. The attention left cleanly.
- But liquidity only fell 32.9% ($214,210 → $143,832), with $70,113 still in the main pool. Against CATGPT's -69.6%, the book held up far better.
- Buy prints still lead (6,656 / 5,856), but unique wallets are 1,986 / 2,417 = 0.82 — still distribution.
Yesterday's three high-fee pools at 80.19% / 81% / 81.263% are still sitting there, holding $219 / $170 / $143. Today I matched those fee values against $FRONTIER and $BANGERCAT and found the same template — breakdown here.
Four checks, one pattern
| Date | Prior day's golden dogs | Day-two result |
|---|---|---|
| 09-11 | PONIE, ROBIN, JACOB (3) | All 3 fell (PONIE -38%, ROBIN -25%) |
| 09-12 | LPAD and others | LPAD -58.49% the next day |
| 09-13 | PONIE, four-day view | +175% → -73.76% |
| 09-14 | CATGPT, PAIREX (2) | Both fell (-71.49%, -37.89%) |
I am not claiming "golden dogs always fall on day two" — the sample is small and covers only a few days. But across those days, no golden dog has gone up on day two. That fact belongs in your decision framework even without a rule attached.
Why day two is usually hard: three mechanisms
Turnover is not sustainable. CATGPT ran nearly 2x turnover yesterday and PAIREX 50x. Holding that price requires the same scale of money arriving continuously. When it stops, price falls back to where someone will bid.
The buyer/seller ratio signals it during the pump. CATGPT was 0.69 yesterday and 0.66 today; PAIREX is 0.82. Rising price with more unique sellers than buyers means the move is held up by a small group buying repeatedly while the float rotates out. With holder data unavailable, this is the single most predictive number I have found.
Pool depth follows price down. CATGPT's main pool going from $7.4M to $2.2M is not only mark-to-market shrinkage; it includes liquidity actually withdrawn. A thinner pool means the next sell hits harder — a negative feedback loop.
The one divergence worth reading: liquidity retention
CATGPT and PAIREX both lost most of their volume — -83.2% and -83.7%, within half a percentage point of each other. Attention left both tokens at the same rate. What separates them is what stayed behind:
| Volume change | Liquidity change | Gap | |
|---|---|---|---|
| $CATGPT | -83.2% | -69.6% | 13.6 pts |
| $PAIREX | -83.7% | -32.9% | 50.8 pts |
When volume falls and liquidity holds, the traders left but the market makers did not — the token still has a book to trade against. When both fall together, the liquidity providers pulled out too, and the next sell order hits a thinner pool at a worse price.
That is visible in the prices: PAIREX lost 37.89% with two-thirds of its book intact, while CATGPT lost 71.49% as its pool shrank by 70%. Same volume collapse, roughly double the drawdown.
The practical version: on day two, do not just check the price. Check whether liquidity fell as fast as volume. If liquidity is holding up better, the token has a floor to trade against and a second run is at least mechanically possible. If liquidity is falling in lockstep, you are watching the pool empty, and each subsequent exit gets more expensive. I made the same observation in reverse on 09-12, when $JUGGERNAUT fell 17% while its pool grew 9.3%.
So what about today's four?
Today's golden dogs are 富贵 (+1,843.42%), BLAST (+1,480.70%), TWINE (+290.25%) and SWARM (+109.59%). Against the three mechanisms above:
- 富贵: buyer/seller ratio 1.08, the only one above 1.0 on the whole board — but 40.3x turnover and 6h already -8.17%.
- BLAST: 93.3x turnover (highest on the board), ratio 0.81, every pool -16% to -18% on 1h. All three boxes ticked.
- TWINE: 8.3x turnover (lowest), deepest book ($986,646) — but ratio 0.80 and every pool -23% to -29% on 1h.
- SWARM: green on all three windows, 13.3x turnover, ratio 0.83.
I will run the same check tomorrow. Per-token breakdowns: 富贵, BLAST, TWINE, SWARM.
FAQ
Do golden dogs always drop on day two?
No, and my sample is too small to treat as a rule. But across the days I have tracked, none has continued higher. The safer reading: a golden dog's move already contains most of the inflow, and continuing up on day two requires new and larger money.
Is CATGPT a dip buy now?
Not for me. 1h -6.4% and 6h -32.79% mean the decline is live; a 0.66 ratio means sellers are still there; and the main pool thinned 70.2% in a day. None of the three has turned. Not investment advice; memecoins can go to zero.
How do I track these live?
