Ten Launches, 48 Hours Later: All Ten at Zero Volume

2026-09-16 · 5 min read · By Leo Park · BigPump Blog
TL;DR
  • All 10 of Sep 14's launches show $0.00 of 24h volume 48 hours later
  • ELON fell from $23,172 of liquidity to $4,018.78; POKE from $11,062 to $4,018.30
  • All ten now sit between $3,355 and $4,144 — back at the launch template's seed amount

I go back and check the "age 0" launch lists every few days, because it is the only way to test whether sniping new tokens is worth doing. This round came back cleaner than any before it — uncomfortably clean.

The 10 tokens launched on Sep 14, checked 48 hours later (data timestamp 2026-09-16 00:08 UTC; pool readings from GeckoTerminal):

Ten out of ten show $0.00 of 24h volume. Not "thin" — zero. Each has exactly one pool left.

Three things worth separating out

1. The three that traded had their money pulled

Only three tokens had real volume on Sep 14: ELON ($19,796.59), POKE ($14,068.46) and TRMNS ($4,784.75). They were also the three deepest. Forty-eight hours later:

Look at where they landed: just above four thousand — the same band as the seven tokens nobody ever touched ($3,355–$4,144). The extra liquidity that was added on launch day, the depth that supported $19,796 of trading, has been taken back out. What is left is the original layer.

2. Every token converged on the same order of magnitude

All ten now sit between $3,355.60 and $4,144.24 — a spread under $800. That is not coincidence, it is one pool-creation template's seed amount. Today's (Sep 16) ten launches show the same fingerprint: nine of them seeded between $3,953 and $6,689, with FUNTOKEN at $0.

Recognising that number is useful. When a "new token" shows liquidity of just over four thousand, you know its state: pool just opened, nobody has touched it, identical to several hundred others beside it.

3. The pool is still there; the market is not

An important distinction: these ten did not rug. The pools exist, the money is still inside, you could in theory trade. But $0.00 of 24h volume means no counterparty, no price discovery, and your sell order is the only thing moving the price.

"The pool exists" and "you can exit" are separate facts. This is another version of the point I keep making: liquidity you cannot route to.

What "one pool" tells you on its own

Every one of the ten has exactly one pool 48 hours in. That is worth pausing on, because pool count is a decent proxy for whether anyone else showed up. When a token gets real attention on this chain, other people open pools against it — different fee tiers, different quote assets, occasionally trap pools. Today's STANDARD has 20+ pools at 23 hours old; WAIFU has 30 at 24 hours.

So the shape of a dead launch is: one pool, seed-sized liquidity, zero volume. The shape of a live one is: pool count climbing within hours, main pool deepening, and volume that survives past the first day. You can read both from the same screen, and neither requires you to have an opinion about the token itself.

A fourth reading worth adding to the checklist: did the deepest pool get deeper or shallower? ELON, POKE and TRMNS were the three deepest on launch day and all three ended up back at the template's seed amount. The money that arrived to make the chart was the same money that left.

What the running tally says

Four cohorts, 40 tokens, no sustained winner in any of them. That is not an argument that early entries never work — today's board has STANDARD and WAIFU, both 23–24 hours old and both up multiples. The difference is that neither was ever discovered from the "age 0" list. They appeared on the board after real volume and real liquidity existed.

What to do instead

  1. Do not buy at hour zero. Four consecutive cohorts say the expected value is near zero, and you are locking in the worst possible liquidity.
  2. Wait for the first real signal. My three lines: 24h volume > $50,000, distinct buyers > 100, liquidity > $20,000. All three, then it goes on the watchlist. WAIFU cleared all three at the 24-hour mark today ($6,260,037, 3,045 buyers, $80,420).
  3. Watch the direction of liquidity, not its level. ELON going from $23,172 to $4,018.78 matters more than any price print — the people who added depth are leaving.

All three numbers are visible on the BigPump hot tokens pages. If you want to understand why tokens launched on BigPump have an LP that cannot be pulled this way, see the create page and book.bigpump.ai.

FAQ

Does $0.00 of 24h volume mean they rugged?

No. All ten pools still exist with $3,355–$4,144 of liquidity in them. Zero volume means nobody is trading, not that the money was taken. For you the outcome is similar though: no counterparty, so your sell order moves the price by itself.

Why is every new token's liquidity about $4,000?

It is the seed amount of the launch template in use. Today's ten new tokens cluster at $3,953–$6,689. Recognising the figure tells you instantly that a token is still in the untouched state.

So when should I enter an early token?

After real volume and real buyers appear. My lines are 24h volume > $50,000, distinct buyers > 100, liquidity > $20,000, all three together. You will miss the very first leg, but you drastically improve the odds of having a counterparty.

Where do I see the daily launch list?

On the BigPump hot tokens pages and in the daily hot tokens report, where I list each day's age-0 launches and check back on them later.
