Robinhood Chain Hot Tokens Sep 8: The +2,506% Coin Is FakeGuide

2026-09-08 · 8 min read · By Leo Park · BigPump Blog
TL;DR
  • $LAPTOP is +2,506% in 24h on a $93,799 pool, and reporting ties its address to a copycat of a Hunter Biden token that launches Sept 9 on Base, not here.
  • Volume across the 7 tokens carried over from yesterday fell 49.9% while their liquidity rose 16.0% - the exact reverse of Sep 7.
  • Two pools died in six hours: $POPE -98.72% and $UPS -83.75%. Nine of twelve tokens are red on 24h.

Robinhood Chain hot tokens on September 8, 2026 come with a warning label. The number one gainer on the board, $LAPTOP, is up 2,506.49% in 24 hours on a pool holding $93,799. It is nine hours old. And published reporting ties its contract address to a wave of copycat tokens front-running a coin that does not exist yet.

All on-chain figures below are from the BigPump research snapshot taken at 2026-09-08 00:10 UTC. ETH was $2,489.06.

Robinhood Chain hot tokens board for September 8 2026 on BigPump

Today's tape: money left, pools got thicker

Yesterday the pattern was volume up, liquidity down. Today it flipped hard. Seven tokens appear on both the Sep 7 and Sep 8 boards - CHUMP, ROBIN, PONS, SIRIUS, PAIR, AI and MEME. Their combined 24h volume went from $128.64M to $64.43M (-49.9%). Their combined liquidity went from $32.17M to $37.32M (+16.0%).

Chain-wide the same thing shows up. GeckoTerminal puts Robinhood Chain at 8.6M transactions and $2.07B of 24h DEX volume, -19.02% against the prior day.

Half the money went home and the pools that stayed got deeper. That is not a crash, it is a cooling. Nine of the twelve tokens on the board are red on 24h; only $LAPTOP, $MEME (+25.67%) and $AI (+9.72%) are green.

$LAPTOP: the only golden dog, and it is a copycat

By our rule - a 24h gain of at least +100% with liquidity of at least $20k - $LAPTOP is the single golden dog on the board. It is also the thing you should be most careful with today.

Why it pumped. Hunter Biden confirmed on X that a memecoin named after his laptop launches September 9 on Base, Coinbase's layer 2. His post carried no contract address, no website and no launch venue. Per The Defiant, the first token named LAPTOP appeared on Robinhood Chain at 14:50 UTC, roughly a minute before the Wall Street Journal's markets account posted the story. Twenty-two more pools followed within 53 minutes across Robinhood Chain, Solana, TON and BNB Chain - at least 14 distinct tokens, $6.9M traded between them by 15:45 UTC.

The largest of them was a Robinhood Chain token at 0x76Ed1E, spread across ten pools, paired against SGOV, the tokenized short-dated Treasury ETF. That address prefix matches the $LAPTOP sitting at rank 11 on our board: 0x76ed1e2a8fc3873fcb5c514688ca2fe8a3600b7f.

The coin at the top of the Robinhood Chain leaderboard today is named after a token that has not launched, on a chain it is not launching on, with no official contract address in existence.

What the chain says. The distribution is genuinely not terrible: top wallet 8.2%, top 10 at 24.1%, 7,615 holders and 7,286 distinct buyers in 24h. That is broad participation, not one whale. But turnover is 111.6x liquidity - $10.46M of volume through a $93,799 pool - and the 1h print is already -18.12%.

Can it continue? Supporting it: real buyer breadth, a clean top 10, and a hard catalyst date tomorrow. Against it: the catalyst is on a different chain, the official contract does not exist, and the moment a real address is published every copycat loses its reason to hold a bid. The 1h reversal is already running. My read: this is an event-driven pool with a known expiry date, not a hold. Not investment advice.

Two pools that died in six hours

$POPE (Pons Pepe) is -98.72% over 6 hours, -73.64% on 24h, 18 hours old, with $11,461 of liquidity left against a $15,614 market cap. Here is the part worth staring at: 24h buys were 4,172 versus 2,948 sells, a buy/sell ratio of 1.42, and 1,955 distinct buyers got in. A majority-buy tape and a -98.72% six hours, at the same time. Transaction counts do not measure dollars.

$UPS (United Pug Service) is -83.75% over 6 hours, -84.06% on 24h, 31 hours old, 728 holders, one wallet at 23.7% and the top 10 at 43.1%. Liquidity is $18,151.

Three more worth reading

$CHUMP - the cleanest chips, still red. Top wallet 1.5%, top 10 at 13.1%, 10,763 holders, $1,107,810 of liquidity. It is the only token on the board where distinct buyers massively outnumber distinct sellers: 1,736 buyers against 731 sellers, a 2.37x ratio. Price: -7.12% on 24h, +0.14% on 1h. Clean distribution buys you survivability, not a green candle.

$AI - up on distribution. Price +9.72% while 24h sells (5,013) more than double buys (2,425), and distinct sellers (2,474) beat distinct buyers (1,464). Liquidity is huge at $23.49M and turnover is only 0.12x. A price rising into net selling is someone handing out size.

$PONS - the pool refilled. Liquidity went from $4.95M to $8.19M (+65.5%) while volume halved. Turnover dropped from 10.8x to 3.3x and the market cap to liquidity multiple came down from 121.6x to 62.1x. Still a $508.8M cap on an $8.19M pool, and one wallet holds 30%.

Wealth effect: $100 a day ago (a look back, not a forecast)

$LAPTOP $2,606.49 / $MEME $125.67 / $AI $109.72 / $CHUMP $92.88 / $EQUI $86.66 / $CASHCAT $85.27 / $PONS $84.98 / $ROBIN $63.78 / $SIRIUS $52.69 / $PAIR $48.79 / $POPE $26.36 / $UPS $15.95.

$100 into each of the twelve - $1,200 - is $3,399.24 today, an average of $283.27. Now delete the copycat: the other eleven turn $1,100 into $792.75, an average of $72.07. Every dollar of that basket's profit came from one token named after a coin that has not launched.

How to trade a board like this

  1. Divide volume by liquidity before anything else. $LAPTOP at 111.6x and $POPE at 85.1x are not accumulation, they are churn. $AI at 0.12x is the opposite problem: nobody is trading it.
  2. Count buyers, not buys. $POPE's 1.42 buy/sell ratio was worthless. Its distinct-buyer to distinct-seller ratio was 0.99. $CHUMP's is 2.37.
  3. Size to the pool, not to your conviction. A $1,000 market buy into $LAPTOP's $93,799 pool moves the execution price roughly 2.1% before fees. The same order into $POPE's $11,461 pool moves it about 17%.
  4. Treat a news date as an expiry, not a floor. Tomorrow's Base launch is the exact moment today's copycat bid has a reason to disappear.

New launches: ten pools, $47,751, and two tokens called BF4

Ten tokens listed at 0 hours old with $47,751 of combined liquidity, an average of $4,775 each, down from $53,817 yesterday. The most active was RKN (Reckon), $7,398.60 of liquidity and +51.34%.

The detail to remember: two separate tokens both called BF4 / "Bluefield 4" launched in the same window at completely different addresses - 0x802882... (+20.36%, $617 of volume) and 0xd3f4c7... (-43.95%, $13,089 of volume). Same ticker, same name, different contracts. On a new-listing feed the ticker is not the identity. The address is.

FAQ

Is the $LAPTOP on Robinhood Chain the real Hunter Biden coin?

No. Reporting places the official launch on Base on September 9, 2026, and no official contract address had been published as of writing. The Robinhood Chain token at 0x76Ed1E is one of at least 14 same-name tokens that appeared across four chains within an hour of the announcement.

What counts as a golden dog on this board?

Our rule: a 24h gain of +100% or more with liquidity of at least $20,000. Today exactly one token qualifies, $LAPTOP, and it qualifies for reasons that read as a warning rather than a recommendation.

Why did $POPE fall 98.7% with more buys than sells?

Buy and sell counts weigh a $5 trade the same as a $5,000 trade. A pool can absorb thousands of small buys and one large exit and still print deeply red. Read distinct buyers against distinct sellers, and read liquidity, not transaction counts.

Is liquidity going up a good sign?

Usually yes: a thicker pool absorbs bigger orders with less slippage. But on this board the +16.0% came mostly from $PONS and $AI, two large caps, while the thin new pools stayed thin. Aggregate liquidity improving does not mean the coin you are looking at improved.

Where can I check these numbers myself?

Every token above links to its BigPump hot-token page, where you get the chart, live trades, the holder list and an in-page swap. If you want to launch instead of chase, creating a token takes one transaction and no code. Mechanics are documented at book.bigpump.ai.
